General manager Sun Senlin expressed that ANDRITZ’s technology and equipment of sludge treatment ranks in the top 3 around the world. As we all know, sludge would be produced after the reaction and precipitation in the course of treating the domestic wastewater. The water content of the sludge normally can be reduced to 70% -80% if the sludge is treated by the same industry in China. However, it can be reduced to 60% if utilizing ANDRITZ’s technology and equipment. Moreover, the cost in the following compression, transportation and landfill can be greatly reduced. It would be a significant innovation and improvement in sludge treatment technology.

Now the decoration of Desun’s plant is under way and will be completed at the end of this year. Sun Senlin expressed that Desun will organize a field trip and has a communication with ANDRITZ’s technical team for making mature treatment schemes.
